Donate to Restore Mrs. Janet's Home and Hope

Many of you know , and many of you may not know , but last Thursday the DQ of Gray Cake Lady Mrs. Janet Bass lost her entire home in a fire. ( she is blocked from this post and cant see it , so SHARE IT PLEASE ! ) Mrs. Janet is one of the most selfless people you will ever meet , and is the very first person to step in and work 30 hours straight for free several times before every Miracle Treat Day , coming in and spending every second she can to make fundraisers and special events happen for the schools , and always has her eyes open to do SOMETHING for ANYONE that she sees has a need. The last 6 months of her life has been very trying on her physically and emotionally , as her husband is in late stages of Dementia, and she is absolutely crazy about her Grandkids whom have had to move to Tampa recently which broke her heart. Then this happens on top of all of it . Dozens of people have reached out online and called the store to try to send help her way , and I’ve told them all I would be able to speak with her this morning to see the biggest need she has , and that together , I know that #OURTOWN will step up and meet that need no question about it . She will be having to rent a home to move in to , and wont have any furniture and basic necessities for her or her sick husband. She can’t see this post , but I believe together through this GoFundMe account or just dropping cash/check off at DQ of Gray , I believe we can raise $10,000 to give her the funds to furnish the home , get her basic goods , and have the funds to get a home rental going . I’m personally donating the first $1,000 , so we’re only $9,000 away . I believe in 24 hours we will meet and exceed this goal for one of the best human beings you’ll ever meet.
