Crawl Space to get out of my RV Home 2

Hello Dear Friends & Family,

I have been living full-time in a 90's RV for about 4 years now. It became my personal private home after years in an abusive marriage, finally ending with my freedom! (The Abuse Included 2 Separate Felony Accounts Of Punching and Choking!!!...Please See Pic Below, I have hidden Some of his Information so I don't get in trouble for Posting it) We all know that freedom comes with a cost, and mine was financial. Of course, I'd rather live in a cardboard box than in a mansion with a physically violent and almost constantly emotionally abusive person. (Who, unbeknownst to me at the time, was also doing hardcore drugs.) I have been living in near poverty since the divorce, as I gave up the support that his VA pension brought us. I couldn't afford a lawyer and simply asked for the RV and the leftover scraps of my very soul...

Since I have regained some peace, strength, and resiliency, I have been working part-time (while dealing with symptoms & diagnosis of PTSD) & trying to hold the pieces of my old RV together. It has always leaked somewhat, though nothing incredibly noticeable. My ex-husband did nothing to very little as far as maintenance.

This year, however, it has been FAR worse. Whenever it rains, and we have had some real downpours, the water comes flowing in. Although it has been mainly in the bathroom at this point, several spots on the floor get soaked, as well as spots in the ceiling. I have been up on the roof a few times myself (although it's hard to climb up the steep, narrow & straight-up ladder) and can be a bit panic-inducing, as I am afraid of heights. I have used rubber roofing material made for RVs and even resorted to tying down a tarp with ropes and duct-taping the edges. :/ Each time I have hoped it would work, but it did not. :( It needs a professional. I even asked a friend to come over & help with it, but not knowing his own strength, he proceeded to break off my door handle upon arriving!!! :O Thank God, it's a drivable RV (although it no longer runs), but I can manage to climb out the side driver door, which is no easy feat and is quite a ways down for someone as short as myself. :/

So now I am dealing with the leaking, more mold growing every day, and a broken front door. (All of this, AFTER my 2 roof AC's went out & I had to replace them with 2 room AC's: one in the living room & one in the bedroom, which scarcely keep up in several of the warmest months of summer. My central gas heater also went out just this last winter. I literally had to wear 2 layers of clothing, socks & sweaters, or jackets & hats INDOORS for the coldest weeks.)

I hate to ask & don't want to ask a single person that I know, or hardly know, or maybe even don't know at all to help. But I assure you, I am doing all I can & am only asking at this point because my very survival, health & livelihood depend on it. I do not have the income, credit, or ability to move into an apartment or a rental house at this time, and certainly cannot afford to buy a home, although since the divorce, my ex has bought a house for himself and is living quite comfortably. I do pay lot rent of $495/month + electric, which is metered and costs $200/month during most months, a little lower in the spring and about $50 more/month in the summer. So what I make goes to my bills, car insurance, phone bill, gas in the car, essentials at the store: soap, TP, etc. I simply don't have enough left over each month for the RV repairs. :( I Even did Something I Never thought I would Do: I set up a Sale outside of a Store in the grass, (County Property) I did the sale for 5 Days, I didn't make a fortune (about $100 for the 5 Day Effort) but I met a lot of Nice People who cared to help a Little bit :) ♥

...I realize that this is a bit awkward, but I have some things available as incentives for any donations: my digital downloads, some stickers that I designed, some wooden plaques that I made, and anything else I can find to offer here. I will update them as I go.

I have spent Christmas freezing, Easter flooding, and my Mother's Day will unfortunately go unnoticed. I myself would love to donate to charities if I only could afford to. There are so many good causes & so many people in need in this world today! And so many of YOU may be struggling yourself. I am not asking those of you who are struggling to put food on the table for your family to help. I, myself, am blessed to go to a food pantry every 2 weeks, or I wouldn't even be able to afford to eat.

But, if perhaps you have a little left over somewhere, and you could afford to miss a coffee at Starbucks, or a casual lunch with a friend, or your 12th new video game this month (lol, I am joking of course), would you please consider helping me out in some small way to get my roof and front door fixed? I would DEEPLY APPRECIATE IT ♥♥♥ And if not, please simply say a prayer for me? ...

Thank you in advance for literally saving my life, either way!!! ♥

Sincerely Yours,

~Jenny Lou ♥
