Donate to Replace Laptop Stolen From My Home

A month ago, I experienced what no one wants to. A robbery at my house in Guatemala, while I was gone at ecstatic dance. The robbers broke into my home through a side window, and tactically found each one of my electronic items and stole them.

My Bluetooth speaker.
My old laptop with 13 years of files on it.
A podcasting mic I was borrowing from a friend.
And the brand new 5 days old laptop that I had spent years saving and praying for.

I immediately called a friend to come over and we attempted to track these things down using technology, police support, and even went to the nearby town to try and buy my items back. But no luck.

For the past month, I have been scraping by with borrowed laptops. Attempting as best as I could, to continue to work on the projects I have put my heart and soul into building these last 3 years. I just began a new venture, creating a delivery app for Lake Atitlan, that will have massive positive impact on the economy there and offer jobs to many locals. But I've been crippled in my ability to move forward without this crucial piece of technology.

My old laptop was 13 years old, and those of you who have seen me struggle to accomplish tasks on a piece of technology that I bought in college, knew that I had been praying for a new one for years. I had made it my goal to finally get a new one this year, for my birthday. And despite all of the setbacks, God made it happen. After years of limping by, I had what I needed to make a bigger impact in my businesses.

When both of these laptops were stolen, I had only had my new one for 5 days.

I am calling out for help in righting this wrong, because I know that God has bigger plans for me. I know that I cannot have made it this far only to be crippled by people with bad intentions in their hearts. I have attempted all avenues to replace my stolen things and now I am turning to my community for help.

If you have the ability today to donate (even $20 helps) I promise I will use all of that energy and love to pour into building more opportunity for others. It is my greatest wish to be in service to the support of those who need it, and being able to have a functioning laptop is a foundational piece of this mission.

Thank you for helping me. For believing in me. For supporting.
