A month ago, my partner Jay and I welcomed Pablo into our family. Before we adopted him, he had already endured so much—he was attacked by other dogs while in his foster home, leaving injuries in his abdominal area. We never imagined those injuries would one day bring us here, telling this heartbreaking story.

A few weeks after joining our family, Pablo began urinating blood. We rushed him to the vet, where he was started on medication that seemed to help—at least for a little while. Unfortunately, the problem returned, and we took him back for further testing.

The very next day, tragedy struck. A blood clot from his liver traveled to his lungs, and Pablo suffered a seizure. Despite the vet’s efforts, we lost our sweet boy—just one day before his very first birthday.

To make things harder, Pablo’s pet insurance only covered part of his medical expenses, leaving us with significant bills from the care and testing he received. Your donation, no matter the size, will help us cover these costs and honor the love we had for Pablo in the short time he was with us.
