Donate to Relieve Mike Murphy's Medical Burden

As most of you know, my brother-in-law, Mike Murphy has had a rough couple years. For two or more years, he suffered with an auto immune disease that left huge open wounds on both of his legs. Although he tried to work, he was very limited. For the last year, he has been in the fight of his life, being diagnosed with a liver disease. During the past year, I have seen both him and my sister Donna, do everything they could to find the right insurance, doctors and hospitals. I’m really proud of Mike for making HUGE lifestyle changes. He stopped drinking, he stopped dipping his Copenhagen and listens to what the doctors tell him to do. I know it hasn’t been easy, with multiple doctors appointments weekly for testing.
In the next few days, he is scheduled for a liver surgery. Referred to as TIPS surgery and an umbilical hernia surgery. The TIPS procedure is inserting a stent/tube to relieve the pressure of blood flowing through the diseased liver and can help stop bleeding and fluid back up. This operation is to give him more time for his liver transplant, which he has been approved for and it will happen when a liver is available for him.
I’m starting this GoFundMe to help take off some of the stress for him and my sister. It is unknown when will be able to go back to work and the bills do not stop coming. We really appreciate any and all donations and prayers. We need lots of prayers, thank you for taking the time to read this.
