Relieve Medical and Car Repair Stress

Donation protected
Here it is:

September 4 I woke up with vision in only my right eye. I went to the clinic in Maplewood and they did an MRI and immediately tossed me in an ambulance and sent me to the University of Minnesota Medical Center Hospital.

I stayed in that hospital for two nights and during that time they gave me another MRI, a CT Scan, a Spinal Tap, an EKG, and took a LOT of blood for lab testing. They wanted me for 10 days so they could do five rounds of testing (one every other day) and I told them I just couldn't do that as my life was not conducive to that sort of hospital stay.

They were able to determine that the most likely culprit was something called optic neuritis which is an extreme inflammation of the optic nerve. They put me on a very serious dose of steroids administered through a needle into my arm and eventually sent me home with steroids in pill form. Vision began to return.

Oh, but that's far from the end.

I got home from the hospital late on September 6th. September 10th, my car overheated and broke down on the side of the road. I got her into a service shop and they told me that it was a leaky water pump. They replaced it and I paid them $1,000. This is not what I needed.

Fast forward to September 18th and wouldn't you know it my car overheated twice on the way home from work and broke down on the side of the road again. I will be bringing it back to that same service shop first thing tomorrow morning (September 19). I don't expect good news.

My hospital bills are starting to drop into my mailbox and insurance doesn't kick in heavy until I pay my deductible of $5,100.

My car is going to need even MORE repair (after the $1000 I just paid) and it is essential to my financial livelihood, my employment.

I am currently up against a very solid wall and this amount of pressure is a lot more than I'm prepared to handle. I do not feel like it's fair for me to ask this of anyone, but I'm not sure what else to do at this point as this much stress has me losing a lot of sleep and fighting a lot of anxiety.
