Monday, April 21, 2025 Regrick went to play basketball his favorite sport. At his last physical his doctor told him he needs to be more active. Well that’s what he did. Regrick took his son and they went to play basketball. During the game Regrick went to block a shot and the player pump faked him. they collided in the air and flipped Regrick upside where he landed on his neck. This cause his spinal cord injury.

2 surgeries later Regrick is set for the road to recovery.
