As a new reset has emerged in many of the African nations, there is a renewed push to overcome the lingering effects of neocolonialism and work towards achieving genuine economic and political sovereignty. This reset is not without its challenges, as many countries still contend with outdated infrastructure, a lack of clean water and corrupt leadership.
