Help Rebuild Longwood District, Santa Cruz, and Surrounding Areas After Hurricane Melissa

My name is Frank Bannister, a general contractor who was born in Longwood District, Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth, and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica. I later migrated to the United States of America, where I’ve continued to use my skills in construction and rebuilding.

Today, my heart is heavy as I watch the devastation left behind by Hurricane Melissa, which has deeply impacted the communities where I grew up. Many families, including my own have lost their homes, belongings, and livelihoods.

I feel a deep responsibility to give back to the place that made me who I am. Using my talent and experience as a contractor, I plan to return to Jamaica to help rebuild homes and restore hope to those affected.

I am seeking donations to support this mission. The funds will go directly toward building materials, tools, transportation, and local labor costs to ensure families can safely return to their homes.
