**HELP REBUILD JAMAICA AFTER HURRICANE MELISSA**

On October 28th, 2025, Jamaica was struck by the catastrophic Category 5 **Hurricane Melissa**—one of the most devastating storms in the island’s history. The destruction is unimaginable. Families are displaced, homes are gone, and many are left without food, clothing, or shelter.

My name is Rochelle Cameron-Boyd, a proud Jamaican-American currently living in South Florida. I grew up in Trelawny, one of the hardest-hit parishes. Jamaica isn’t just where I’m from—it’s who I am. It’s where my heart belongs.

Today, my heart is broken. Many families, including my own, have lost everything. About 70% of my family members have sustained major damage to their homes—some have lost them entirely. It’s a pain I can hardly put into words.

But I refuse to stand by and do nothing. I’ve personally committed $5,000 USD of my own funds to help with emergency repairs, roofing, and basic recovery supplies. However, the need is far greater than I can meet alone—and this is where I’m asking for your help.
