Hello!

My name is Abbey Greene, and I am a 4th grade teacher at Olive Chapel Elementary. I have been teaching for 6 years and have spent the last 4 in a trailer classroom that has had significant issues, including floor collapses, roof leaks, and mold infestations. We have not been allowed in our classroom since September due to a floor collapse and discovery of significant harmful mold in the room. A full restoration of our classroom is underway, but I do not want to use the furniture that has spent many years in the classroom due to the severity of the mold discovered. I also had to throw away all of my bulletin board materials and some instructional materials. I want to provide my students with a clean, sanitary, and welcoming classroom when we are allowed to return.

Items on my list are new student tables, bookcases, a standing desk for the Promethean board, as well as bulletin board and other classroom materials to make the space inviting.

This experience has been very emotional for my class, and I would appreciate any help you can offer, so that when we are finally allowed back in our classroom, it will be a safe, healthy, and functional space for students.
