Support Raul Izaguirre's Recovery Journey

This fundraiser is dedicated to the strongest, sweetest, and most charismatic man that we are blessed to call our Father, Raul Izaguirre. Life threw a very unexpected curve ball at us this year as we recently received the news our dad was diagnosed with stage 3 prostate cancer. For those who know Raul, you know how much of a fighter he is and that his faith in God knows no bounds. This is not the first obstacle we've had to face as a family and we are trusting that God will be guiding us through every step on our dad's road to recovery.

Unfortunately, with these types of situations comes the snowball effect of increasing medical expenses and we are finding ourselves having to settle for what we can afford rather than obtaining the treatment that our dad needs to fight this disease. Currently, our dad is stuck in Venezuela without a U.S. passport, and the medical system is not as forgiving to those without insurance. This is preventing our ability to begin our dad's radiation therapy to treat the tumor or remove it via surgery. The next option is to get our dad to the U.S., but his current condition needs to improve before he can travel. All we can do right now is get the medication needed to contain the tumor and prevent it from spreading until our dad is ready to travel, or until we can obtain the funds needed to begin treatment in Venezuela.

While there are many more moving pieces to this puzzle that we can go on about, this is all to say that we are in need of the help of our family and friends to relieve the financial burden of our father's unexpected medical expenses. We humbly ask that you take the time to donate whatever is within your means no matter how little, or feel free to share this post to your close family and friends who may be able to donate.
