Donate to Rangel’s Emergency Mission

There has been an emergency and my brother will be traveling to Asia to help a friend in dire need get back to the States. The funds raised here will ensure that they will have the resources required for food, lodging, travel, and any other expenses that may arise over the course of the trip. We deeply appreciate any assistance at this time.

Update: My brother went to Thailand and spent a week and a half with his friend, and we made plans for him to return home. Unfortunately, his friend became very ill on the day he was supposed to leave and had to be hospitalized. We have been in contact with the Thai Embassy who are trying to get him deported back to the US, as well as trying to get information on his condition from the hospital. They haven’t been very forthcoming since we are not blood relatives, but they have indicated that they will share information with his daughter’s mother if we pay his medical bills. She was sent the majority of your donations but it’s not enough. Again, we’re forever in the debt of everyone who’s given to help us save our friend, but unfortunately the situation has gotten worse and more complicated. Any further help that anyone can offer would, again, be greatly appreciated.

Update: Our friend has returned to the US. His experience in getting back to the states has been harrowing and he is still in need of some assistance. He will be needing medical care and cushion to start rebuilding his life. We will be caring for him for the time being, but if anyone could please donate and share this fundraiser we will be very grateful. We are in eternal debt for everyone that has helped us get this far.
