On June 24th, Randy went to the dentist having what we thought was horrible tooth ache. After several trips to the dentist, with out of pocket expenses the pain never subsided. Randy again found himself back at the dental office for one last attempt to resolve the issue. Not being able to talk, eat or drink, Randy was forced to make the decision to go the Emergency room.

When Randy arrived in the ER, he was given a CT scan which revealed a large 4x6 cm tumor located on his brain stem. The tumor is wrapped around his 4 major facial nerves used to control his swallowing, vision, hearing and Trigeminal (facial) nerves.

Due to the prognosis Randy is having brain surgery on Monday July 29 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester to remove as much of the tumor as possible. Surgeon's are prepared for an extensive surgery to try to alleviate and remove this tumor. We are praying that this procedure will result in some type of normalcy to Randy’s quality of life.

If anyone knows Randy, he does not like to ask anyone for anything. He has been out of work for a month now and the burden financially to cover the procedures thus far has been on him solely.

The surgeons are expecting lengthy road of recovery ahead of him., we are all hopeful for a full recovery for Randy.

Our goal is for Randy to be able to focus on his recovery and not have to worry about any of the financial burden of out-of-pocket expenses or day-to-day expenses, that we may take for granted, while not being able to receive full income due to his health situation.

When it comes to selfless acts my brother has done a lot for his friends and family, we now have the ability to help a friend, brother, family member back that has been there for so many of us over the years and has asked for nothing in return.

We would also ask that you keep Randy in your prayers as he undergoes his surgery and starts his recovery process. I will be updating Randy’s status during the entire process via social media/gofundme.
