Randy Fritson’s Heart Journey (Tin Man)

On March 12, 2025, Randy and Krista received the call that “they got a matching heart” after 17 months on the transplant list.

Beginning late February, Randy had a few surgical procedures and 2.5 weeks at the Heart Transplant Hospital.

After an 11+ hour operation on March 12 and a follow up surgery on March 14th to remove some heart support equipment and sew up his chest, Randy was in critical, but stable condition.

Since then, he has forgone many obstacles and was moved to Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital Thursday, April 4, 2025.

Krista and Randy have given so much of themselves to the community, and to friends, I would like to start a fundraiser to help support them, please consider donating. The funds raised will be used to help with medical bills, food, transportation and day-to-day expenses.

Randy continues to get stronger every day. He has received the gift of life, and I know our financial support will mean the world to both Randy and Krista.
