Donate to raise money for Narinder's recovery

Hi, my name is Arsh and I am fundraising for my father.

Narinder Singh Gora, is one of the most disciplined, fit and hands-on member of our family.

On the night of December 8th, Dad had severe pain in his heart and was rushed to the Monash hospital for emergency care.

After running a few tests, the hospital decided to admit him. The next day, we were informed that he had a large heart attack and was brought to the hospital on time. the day after day, he was taken for Angiography and the doctor confirmed that he had a high blockage in three of his coronary arteries and that Dad was an eligible patient for bypass surgery. It was the most dreadful moment for our entire family.

Dad did not want to go under the knife, so after speaking with the senior doctors, we were told that stents and medication is also a safe option for him. Since it was the weekend and they do not perform non-critical procedures on the weekend; Dad's Angioplasty was postponed till Monday.

Dad was not covered for heart-related procedures which resulted in the bills going out of pocket. The cost of an overnight bed in a CCU (Cardio Care Unit) is $3500. All blood tests, scans, Doctors' fees, stents, and Angiography were separate. This resulted in the total cost being $25000. Which is why I decided to start this fundraiser.

Please note: that this is ONLY for medical bills. The family will be able to look after him for the ongoing medical checkups and medications at our own expense.

If there is any spare money left in the fund, it will be paid forward.

We are grateful that Dad is alive and with his children, safe and recovering. We are grateful that he was rushed to the hospital on time and was taken the best care of at Monash Berwick and Clayton.
