Hi, we are Sinead and Ben, and are raising funds to support the New Dream Cambodian Children Organisation (NDCCO), a non-profit school in Siem Reap, Cambodia, that provides free English education to children from low-income families.
Your contribution will help to empower these students by giving them the tools they need to build brighter futures, open doors to employment opportunities, and access higher education.
We had an amazing week volunteering as teachers and it was truly inspirational to meet Kim, hear his story (see the last few paragraphs) and see the incredible school he has built. The care and commitment he has for this work is phenomenal and is also reflected in the incredible team he has built and actively supports everyday. It was an absolute privilege to meet and work with all the students and be able to give something back to this lovely community. We would have stayed much longer if we did not have a flight already booked, but we hope to return again soon!

Why We Need Your Support
Operating the school comes with significant monthly costs, and it relies entirely on donations. Your help will directly cover these essential expenses:
1. Teachers’ and staff’s Salaries:
2. Utilities and Essentials:
* Electricity: $150/month
* WIFI: $18/month
* Garbage truck service: $10/month
* School supplies: $170/month
3. Nutritious Meals for Students:
Proper nutrition plays a critical role in helping the students stay focused and engaged during classes.
Kim also hopes to expand his school even further, following the completion of the new school buildings, to welcome hundreds of more students.
Supporting Families Beyond the Classroom
Many of the children’s families face severe financial hardships, making it difficult for them to put food on the table. To ease this burden, Kim’s organisation provides rice donations to these families. An entire family can be fed for a month, with $15. Supporting parents in this way allows them to focus on keeping their children in school and building a brighter future together.
Every contribution—no matter the size—makes a meaningful difference.
Meet Kimlean, the Heart Behind NDCCO
Kimlean, the founder of NDCCO, knows firsthand what it means to struggle and rise above adversity. After reconnecting with his family by sending half of his first paycheck, Kimlean saved enough to buy his first motorbike and became a tuk-tuk driver. Over time, he grew a successful business, giving tours around Angkor Wat.
In 2014, motivated by his desire to help children escape poverty, Kimlean opened a free English school for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Funded entirely from his own pocket, the school has become a pillar of hope in the community. Alongside running the school, Kimlean personally provides monthly rice donations to 45 families, working tirelessly 7 days a week to make it all happen.
With four daughters, a son, and an unwavering commitment to the community, Kimlean is a true inspiration to us all. His dedication fuels the spirit of NDCCO, and with your help, we can continue supporting this incredible work.
Join Us in Changing Lives
By supporting NDCCO, you’re not just donating—you’re transforming lives. Your generosity helps to break the cycle of poverty.
Together, we can keep this dream alive. Thank you for your support!
