Hi guys!

For those that don’t know, I’m currently a grad student at the Colorado School of Mines, studying Sustainable Aviation-improving the human relationship with the environment with planes. (If you’re curious, I’m always happy to share more!)

I’ve also been living with Long COVID for four years, which has significantly impacted my ability to run, bike and ski, some of my favorite activities. It’s also given me the opportunity to slow down and focus on work I really care about!

To get to campus and to keep moving outdoors—I’m saving for an e-mountain bike. I know batteries and the power grid aren’t perfect yet, but riding instead of driving would meaningfully cut my daily emissions and help me stay active.
