Donate to Quincy Leca's Legal Battle for His Son

Hello, my name is Quincy Leca and I’m currently fighting for visitation of my three-year-old son. I've been fighting to be in his life for going on four years. In that time, he has been taught that another man is his father. He's recently been told not to speak with me during FaceTime visits, so now, unfortunately, he ignores me during my scheduled calls. Which is sad because before that was done, he asked to come to my house. This is unfortunately one of those situations where the bitterness of another is causing real damage to a child who loves his mom and doesn't know any better. I won't get into all the details because we are currently in court, but I will share with you all I've done the last three years to demonstrate to the courts why I should be granted visitation with my son. I've changed my entire life from whom I was and what I was doing three years ago when this all started. I work two jobs, I’ve taken one online parenting course and another four-month weekly parenting course, I've attended AA consistently, completed a three-month outpatient therapy, I’ve paid $70 weekly for one-hour weekly supervised visits for a year, I’m up to date on child support payments and just all around have done the work to be a better man. And in that time, this woman has tried to hurt me through our son and unfortunately her hurt won't allow her to see the bigger picture and the impact this will have on our child. She has taught my son since he was six months old that her boyfriend is his dad. She made fake pages to cause issues in my relationship with my second child’s mom. She even moved my second child’s mom into her home with her boyfriend after she was kicked out of her mom’s house for going to jail for assaulting me. And in that time, they all started a sexual relationship and partied doing drugs and freaking on each other. They conspired to attempt to get my daughter taken away from me and just a whole bunch of mess that is too much to type. She denies court FaceTime visits when she wants and she has even instructed my son not to speak to me during our court-ordered FaceTime visits, so now when I call, he just ignores me. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know any better. She's been this way for years and I had hoped as time went on that she would mature and things would get better, but unfortunately not.

I am a changed person. I work two jobs, and I take care of my daughter with no help from her mom. Yet, here we are, four years later, and I’ve been fighting just to have visitation with my son, and the cost has become too much to bear. His mother has committed several instances of perjury yet I wasn't allowed to prove it because I attempted to represent myself once I couldn't afford a lawyer any longer and there was protocol I didn't understand to submit evidence unfortunately. But now I have a lawyer again and we are close to the finish line of rectifying the situation, but the cost has become too much to bear. My mom has spent between $20,000-$30,000 helping me fight this, and it’s at the point where resources are exhausted. I’ve got court on the 10th, and the lawyers who were helping us out with letting us pay $200 a month now have requested $2,500, or they will have to push back the case. That’s not including the $2,200 bill they haven’t posted yet and the money it will take for the next court date after this one. I’m not one to get on the internet asking for help, but I’m at the point where I’ve thought about giving up on my son because this experience has caused me so much pain, but I have to keep fighting for him. I will not give up on him. So I am asking for help, please, to help me be in my son’s life. I will post some pictures of my son and I. I would post evidence to back up my claims so a clear picture is seen, but we are in the court process and so I wouldn't to risk it. I'm just trying to be there for my son and it's sad what has taken place, but unfortunately this is a pretty typical situation that occurs in custody battles. PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN.
