Firstly I want to thank everyone who previously donated to Rigsby’s vet bills. So many people love our old boy.

It is with a very heavy heart that we have come to the decision to put Rigsby to sleep in the coming weeks. His health and comfort is declining rapidly and we want to let him go peacefully before he suffers too much.

Taking him in the car to the vets is a really traumatic experience for him and we can’t have his final moments be that terrifying and stressful, so I have arranged for a palliative care practitioner to come and do the procedure at home, surrounded by the people who love him. As expected, this is quite expensive. His owner is willing to contribute £200 and it’s up to us to raise the rest. Any donations would be really appreciated, and our door is open to anyone who wants to say goodbye.
