Hello, My name is Tracy Sauerwein, I am from Vacaville California. I have 2 beautiful daughters & an amazing granddaughter I am striving and fighting hard to live for everyday.

I had a bowel rupture May 19, 2018, from a cancerous tumor on my large bowel; Had Complete Renal failure, was on dialysis for 2 months, Life Support for 32 days, and within a four month period underwent 6 different surgeries, and ultimately was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Carcinoid Cancer. I was given a 10% survival rate.

From the initial bowel rupture, I was then diagnosed with Abdominal Compartment Syndrome

I have underwent multiple additional surgeries, rounds of radiation, which has not been successful, and has caused more issues, & complications.

Since then, I have battled multiple continuous infections back to back, been on antibiotics one after another for the last 5 years.

It wasn’t until recently that I discovered the well water on the property I was given as a Life Estate has been contaminated with Ecoli, which has been a cause of the continuous infections. I am currently unable to bathe, or use the water in my home, and cannot afford to move.

This week, I had my first round of Chemo, and am trying to raise money to get a water filtration system installed on my property to clean the water and allow me to live comfortably without additional complications.

The cost of this Filtration System is $6,559.
