Provide Jake with a Reliable Wheelchair Van

Donation protected
Hi there! This is a an attempt to raise some finances for blessing my little brother Jake, with a better wheelchair and most specifically: a reliable wheelchair van.

Jake was in a swimming accident about 5 years ago that left him paralyzed from the chest down.
Now he can no longer play Baseball, Football or Wrestle like he was so accustomed to.

Jake is a wonderful young man that enjoys spending time with his friends and going out into the community to meet people and don a smile for all to see.

He loves music, concerts and playing video games, as well as listening to music and reading.

Jake always wanted to become a man whose story inspires others to never give up and to continually strive to be loving towards others.

Jake lives in the Portland area and the wheelchair van that he was using had a faulty engine and majorly malfunctioned.

He currently is utilizing public transportation with his care taker to get from place to place and it is not ideal for getting him to his appointments.
(He wishes to walk again, so he is enrolled in physical therapy sessions and even is blessed with some specialty equipment that assists him with standing)

Jake’s dream is to walk again and to share his battles and triumphs with others so as to bring more light into this world.

I personally have been blessed to find a few options of vans that will work for him, so this is an attempt to raise funding quietly and surprise him with something functional and reliable if the goal is met.

We aren’t reaching for the moon by any means.
And quite honestly, anything helps. (Especially prayer )

The goal as it stands currently is $7,000 and I am in conversations with individuals whom specialize in wheelchairs for the disabled; as well as dealership owners whom have access to Wheelchair Accessible Vans either within their inventory, or their shared networks.

If you would like to assist in bringing some freedom to a young handicapped boy that desperately needs help, please feel free to donate here or reach out and please feel free to share this if you feel led to.

Honestly, even $5 helps
