Hi, my name is Debbi and I am one of the directors here at Debbi's Doodles CIC.

We offer art, craft and creative sessions to young people that can't attend mainstream education. Once a school placement breaks down, parents often have to fight for alternative education, this can leave the young person without any education or place to belong.

Last year we secured National Lottery funding to provide funded places for young people that were between school and local authority funding. This has now ran out but we still have 5 students who have not secured funding and I would like to continue to fund their sessions.

We have made many applications to funders but all have been unsuccessful. I have also asked local businesses for help.

This money will be used to pay staff to deliver 1:1 sessions to children who have already been identified as in need and not receiving funding from elsewhere.

These sessions make a difference to a young persons life. We provide a safe and free space to create in without demands.
