Support Haitian children's School to buy Curriculum

The first time I saw the one room school building in LaVictoire, Haiti I was shocked!
The building was made of sticks, held together with mud. There was a dirt floor. The roof was tin. There were four teachers, one in each of the corners of the room. There were approximately 15 students in each corner.
The teachers had no blackboards, or teaching materials. The students had no books and no desks. The students were overjoyed when I distributed paper and pencils to them.
I returned from my trip with a heavy heart for those children.
A short time later, my wife and I, founded FRIENDS OF LAVIC, a 501(c3) Charity. One of our goals is to improve the lives of children in Haiti by providing them with an opportunity to receive a quality education.
Six years later there is now a 7-room cement block school building for grades K through 6 for 300 students. Three years ago, thanks to generous donations, Friends of LaVic was able to purchase an approved Haitian curriculum for the first time. The cost was $5,000. As a result of runaway inflation in Haiti and civil unrest in the capital city, the cost has increased to $10,000 this school year.
We are asking for your help in raising the funds to purchase the needed curriculum for this year. School is scheduled to start September 9th. Will you please help these young children to have a chance at a better life? A donation of any amount will be appreciated. $5, $15, $25 or more WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Thank you for whatever you can do to help!
