Help Provide Bibles for Scouts at Hale Scout Reservation

✝️ Help Me Share the Word of God to Scouts at Hale Scout Reservation during the Summer of 2025 and beyond!

My name is Newman. For the past two years, I have had the incredible blessing of serving as Chaplain while my Troop attended summer camp at Hale Scout Reservation. This experience has been profoundly rewarding, and now, the Lord has placed a new mission on my heart. I feel a deep burden to ensure that every Scout who attends Chapel (or desires one) next summer at Hale receives a Backpacker’s Bible.

My Goal:

I aim to make 5,000 Bibles available to Scouts. This ambitious goal will require raising approximately $15,000.

Why This Matters:

Scouts Need God’s Word

Scouting is not just about outdoor adventures; it’s about developing strong, moral, and ethical foundations. By providing Scouts with God’s Word, we are offering them a compass for navigating life’s challenges, fostering resilience, and instilling a sense of purpose and hope. Don’t we all need this? There is nothing more impactful than sharing God’s Word - it literally transforms lives!

About 20 years ago, I was part of a similar project at Philmont, where we distributed Bibles to Scouts. The impact was tremendous! These Bibles were treasured and often seen being read at camps and during breaks along the trail. I envision the same positive influence at Hale.
