Hi, my name is Nikki & I am fundraising to provide essential food items to the people of Bali.

Covid has hit us all in many & varied ways over the past two years. One group of people who have been hit especially hard is our island neighbours in Bali.

As we start getting back to a new kind of normal, most people in Australia have returned to work and can provide for our families. Some lucky ones can even start travelling again. Other people around the world aren't so lucky.

With Bali's primary income revenue being from the tourist dollar, they are yet to see a robust return to work for a large percentage of their community.

With locals leaving the main tourist areas and heading back to their villages without income for the past 2 years, it has become increasingly difficult to provide the essentials required to simply survive. In short, our friends are starving!

In my pursuit to help our beautiful Bali friends I will be visiting them for the first time in 4 years between 16 August - 26 August. With the help of my dear friend Kawi, l will head out to where the Balinese people needs us the most, to provide basic food essentials to as many people as I can.

For as little as $15 I will be able to purchase enough rice, eggs & coconut oil to feed a family of four for two weeks.

For us, that is three coffees, a large fast food meal or two beers at the pub.

To the people of Bali it means going to bed with a full tummy and the belief that in our own troubles we haven't forgotten about them.
