Hello everyone, my name is Gloria. I am a single mom to an 8-week-old baby boy. I am asking for support in raising money for a family attorney.

I was in an abusive relationship with the father of my child for 6 years. I endured all kinds of abuse: physical, verbal, emotional, and sexual. I left him before knowing I was pregnant, and I was still dealing with emotional and verbal abuse from him after no longer being with him. All I wanted was to find common ground to eventually be able to co-parent when our child was here.

My pregnancy was high risk, and he knew and still continued to put me under stress. When I last spoke to him, he told me to go kill myself and didn’t care that I was carrying his child. He constantly told me to kill my child if I wasn’t going to be with him.

Later on, I was harassed by his friends with phone calls and messages with threats and harsh words. My information was given to people who never had it.

I have a domestic violence restraining order on him. I have a firm that is willing to help represent me. I just need the money to pay them, and that is something that I currently do not have.
