Donate to Production Fund: "Still Life of Queens"

Hi! My name is Jade Magno McGovern, and I wrote a play entitled "Still Life of Queens" that I will be producing in association with DePaul University's Blue Demon Theatre in the fall of 2023. This production will be entirely student-run.

Loosely based on the tale told in the Beatles’ song “Eleanor Rigby,” "Still Life of Queens" is the story of a group of high school friends reuniting in a closed art museum after their first year away from their hometown while simultaneously following the tragic tale of a deceased painter and her husband. It is a story of friendship, grief, and legacy as well a lament for the lonely and on the impossibility of remembrance.

To cover the costs of the venue, lighting, sound, costumes, set, and props, our production team is looking to raise 3000 dollars. Anything that you can give is greatly appreciated, and if you would like to be acknowledge in the program as a donor, please leave your name along with your donation.
