Hello, my name is Julieta, and I am an aspiring young author. My father
has helped me organize this fundraiser to help me with my school project.
The book I’m writing about is set in the beautiful state of Queretaro,
Mexico, and our main character is none other than…a Lele doll! In this
book the reader views the rich culture and landmarks of Queretaro through
the colorful lens of Lupita the Lele doll. Readers as young as 8 years old can
be informed of this wonderful place; it’s an exciting discovery for them.
Children are brimming with curiosity and exploration, and being able to
provide this fascinating information in a visually appealing format fills my
heart with joy. Mexican culture in particular is something I hold near and
dear to my heart, so I want this book to be a door for young readers to learn
about the little details that they aren’t taught about the wonderful land of
Mexico, one state at a time. This book is written and illustrated entirely by
me, so all I need help with is the printing process. The hope you give me
with each donation is something I will return with my innovation. These
printed books will be donated to the local libraries in order to reach
inquisitive young minds. I hope that I can have the support of my
community to not only excel in my project but also to accomplish my
life-long dream of creating a book.
