Today, you can make a difference by donating to Prime Wellness Community Health Center (PWCHC).

PWCHC is established to provide quality health services to the uninsured and underserved population, included but not limited to all disadvantaged and underserved communities of South Los Angeles and surroundings including minorities and communities of color. Seeing a need to balance the inequalities in healthcare, PWCHC is going to provide health services to everyone, regardless of their ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, immigration status, or ability to pay for services.

Our main focus is to provide high-quality comprehensive affordable preventive care services for local communities of South Los Angeles including communities of color, African American and Hispanic local communities who were drastically disadvantaged, underserved, and hit harder by the COVID-19 pandemic than any other communities of Southern California.

Dr. Nicolette L. Ballou has been a valuable community primary health care provider. For more than three decades, she has treated several generations of the South Los Angeles pediatric population. Throughout this entire time, she has dedicated her practice to the underserved and low-income populations, including minorities and children of color.

In April 2021, Dr. Ballou joined a non-profit initiative Prime Wellness Community Health Center, to keep doing what she has always enjoyed treating children and making them healthier and happier. She wants to have the clinic doors open to continue providing primary health services to everyone, regardless of their ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, immigration status, or ability to pay for services.

 

Dr. Ballou's and Prime Wellness CHC's joint mission is to improve the quality of life for the diverse communities of South Los Angeles by providing affordable and comprehensive primary health care and education in a welcoming and multicultural environment.

We recognize the disparity of care in the community we care for and aim to be a part of the solution.
