After a long career in broadcasting, for the last 9 years, I worked for a company ultimately handling Medicare & Medicaid as a QAR, meaning I monitored phone calls to ensure agents not only followed guidelines but also provided customer service. In December of '24, the line of business went away and that's what started the dominoes. For 41 days, I had no income and they would not release me for unemployment, so I used my savings. In March, I had to cash in my 401K.

Throughout the last 10 months, I've been to the ER 4 times and admitted twice. It's been one thing after another: glaucoma, cataracts, uncontrolled diabetes, sepsis, and more. I've done everything I was supposed to do. I saved, paid my bills, etc., and now I'm in imminent danger of losing my home and dogs. If there is any way you could help at all, I would be so grateful.
