A young lady and her 5-year-old daughter in Marion, SC, are facing a 5-day eviction notice, with the 10th being her last day to secure funds. The eviction notice states $2100, and she currently has $1200, leaving a balance of $900. Having recently lost two parents in 2022 and 2023 and struggled to get on her own and now struggling to get back on track, she has provided proof of her situation to me. Are there any resources or churches in the Marion area that can offer assistance? She has secured employment and will receive her next paycheck in two weeks, but time is of the essence. If anyone in the Marion area has knowledge of available resources, I will facilitate communication with her. She has requested that I direct anyone willing to help to her. I suggested she explore opportunities with DoorDash, but unfortunately, she lacks transportation, severely limiting her options. Several agencies she contacted have depleted funds; are there any women-focused non-profit organizations that can provide support?
Or any work like cleaning, etc., to help her meet her goal? I have decided to create her a GoFundMe and added a few extra funds, but the goal is $900 to save this family. If I have ever helped you in any way, please help me help this family.
