Hi ! So long story short, I’m currently raising money for a surgery called a bilateral mastectomy. Breast cancer runs in my family, my grandmother had it and beat it, my mom on the other hand, did not. She passed away at 43 years old and I was 11 years old. After talking with my doctor and going to many appointments over the past couple of years it has been determined that the best preventative care for this is to go for this surgery, I was very happy because although it is extreme, I know that this will lift fear and the burden of most likely getting cancer later on in life off of my shoulders. The out of pocket cost for my surgery even after insurance is over $3,000 and the recovery process takes 6-8 weeks and my amazing husband is taking that time off work to take care of me during this process. We won’t have any type of income during this time so any help that we can get to pay the copay and our monthly rent, utilities, and groceries would be fantastic ! Anything helps ❤️
