Guledgudda Weavers and their families are in severe distress due to Covid and some are struggling for food. Weavers don't want donations. Instead, they are asking us to buy their cloth so it can afford them the dignity they are used to.

KKNY is supporting the weavers by buying their cloth. From this cloth handbags will be made and will be distributed to our community during Ugadi Celebrations on April 16, 2022.

Our total budget is $3,000. If we raise $1,500 then KKNY has graciously agreed to match the donation up to 1500( This Amount KKNY has intended to use for the UGADI Swag bag with other items). Your generous donations will support the Weaver Families and Help conserve our roots.
