I'm the mother of Kiptyn Stepanik, he has recently been diagnosed with Keratoconus, which is basically a warped cornea. It is effecting both eyes with his left eye being the worst. There is no cure but thankfully there is a procedure called Cornea Crosslinking that stops the progression, which he will have done in July in DC. Unfortunately insurance does not cover this procedure so we are responsible for $10,000 out of pocket to save his eyesight.
