Last year, my mom was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer, which led her to go through treatments. She went through a lumpectomy and radiation. With the help of her caring doctors and family members, she navigated her treatment smoothly.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I am running a half-marathon to shine a light on this important topic that many women go through. Though I have been running for quite some time now, this will be my very first race. I am eager to finish running it all the way to the finish line without stopping.

Also, as an artist, I will be creating 3 watercolor paintings dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness. I will be printing and sending one of the designs to anyone who donates via snail mail.

All proceeds of this fundraiser will be going to the Pink Fund, which is a charity that provides financial assistance to breast cancer patients.
