My name is Jazmine and I’m the mama to this precious little boy, Percy.

Percy is 18 months old and has a type of epilepsy called Focal Cortical Dysplasia type 2. This type of epilepsy is known to become completely medication-resistant, and the best treatment plan is to resect the lesion, aka brain surgery.

Our estimated date for surgery is around the end of May, start of June. During this time, I will be staying in the hospital with Percy for the pre-op, the recovery, and I’ll be his primary caregiver once we’re released from the hospital.

Estimated recovery time is 4-6 weeks minimum once we’re home. I will be out of work during this time and I am humbly asking for help to be able to support my baby during this scary time. He is really such a trooper and has done wonderfully this far.

Donations would go towards living expenses, food, and gas costs while we help Percy prepare for, and then recover from his surgery.
