My name is Ardelsham Sulyman, originally from Sudan, currently living in Canada.

Today, I come to you with a heavy heart and a sincere plea for help.

Sudan, my homeland, the place where I grew up, where my memories and loved ones remain, is suffering in ways that break my heart. Families are facing hunger, disease, displacement, and unimaginable fear. Innocent people are being forced out of their homes with nothing but the clothes they are wearing. Mothers are struggling to feed their children. The elderly are going days without medicine. Entire communities are living without safety or shelter.

Every single day, I receive calls and messages from people who were once our neighbours, friends from my school years, people who know my family and know I'm in Canada; they reach out for help.

I felt in my heart that I cannot just watch… I have to do something.

This is why I am taking this step to support the Sudanese families in the city of El Obeid who are refugees and under siege, and have fled to the town as refugees. Now, they're struggling to survive every single day as bombs are falling around them daily. The scenery of killing in El-Fashir Now is everywhere.

Hasbuna Allah wa Niem alwakeel.

I cannot sit back and watch this happen; this mission is very important and personal. This GoFundMe is my way of trying to be a voice for the voiceless and to send urgent support to the families who are barely surviving.

I will exchange for USD and send it to a trusted person who will;

~ Distribute food packages for the needy and cash to those who need medical care.

~ Specifically will be donated to people who live in shelters, schools and public areas without having any guaranteed source of the next meal.
