This GoFundMe is being made collectively by Sam, Cassandra, and Olivia Parenteau for our dad, Paul Parenteau.

Paul has been fighting kidney cancer unknowingly for a few years now, since his decline in health had been repeatedly brushed off and misdiagnosed by doctors. In late June of this year, he was hospitalized after his hip fractured in three places due to its weakening. Here is when he finally got diagnosed with stage four kidney cancer, and has had to undergo numerous surgeries since. He's had surgery on both of his legs as well as his hips, and he just finished radiation last week.

As he's starting chemotherapy, we've found our family at a loss. We're all trying to pitch in what we can financially while also providing around-the-clock care for him. Without work to pay bills, we have moved into our camper in the meantime. He worked up until his diagnosis, and I don't think this was quite the retirement he had planned. It's not about the money, but it is. Your donations, no matter how small they may be, alleviate just that much stress off of our father.
