My name is Patrick. I was recently diagnosed with colon cancer while also being laid off from my job temporarily. I'm the only one who works a paying job in my house. I'm not really sure what information to put in this.

It's embarrassing enough having to ask for donations, but the point is, the multiple appointments that are involved with a cancer diagnosis and being laid off even when I do get back to work. The sheer amount of time that I'm going to miss from work just going to treatments. And already, the bills are starting to pile up. At this point, I'm not really sure what to do. I've tried my local charities. Everybody's tapped out. It's pretty tough to ask strangers to help, but here I am.
