In September 2024, Pashince was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer. Her doctor performed a thyroid lobectomy and she was considered cancer free 4 weeks later.

At her 9 month check up (July 2025) her ultrasound came back as suspicious and unfortunately it has metastasized, and she requires more than one surgery to correct it.

Due to the nature of these surgeries, Pashince will have to undergo weeks of physical therapy to get movement and feeling back, causing her to miss several weeks of work. She and her husband are both self employed, and lose income anytime they aren’t working.

Pashince is hopeful these surgeries will be last of this journey she, her husband Ashton, and their son have been on for years now. We are just as hopeful that she’ll be able to live a hospital free life going forward, and to be able to thrive in her career.
