Hi everyone! How are y'all? My name is Jennifer Christophe and I am the daughter of Pamela Christophe! My mother has been having strokes since 2015! Her most recent ones in the past 3 years have caused grave damage.

On September 27, 2022, she suffered a mild stroke that took away her sight. On February 17, 2023, she suffered another stroke which affected her mobility on the right side of her body, causing her to be 80% wheelchair-bound. Just as things were looking okay with no strokes during 2024, she suffered another stroke on August 2, 2025. This last stroke has now completely taken whatever little sight she was regaining, all of her mobility, leaving her bed-bound, and much more!

Over these years, my dad has done an amazing job taking care of her, her needs, and wants, and making sure she was well taken care of. When most would have folded or pushed her aside, he stood tall on all 10 and did just as his vows stated (For better or worse, through sickness and in health)! We barely know what sleep is anymore because we are always on the move making sure we take care of whatever is needed.

I refuse to let it all weigh down on my dad and myself this time! I am finally throwing in the towel and asking for help! Help to be able to do home renovations to make it more handicap accessible, medical bills, medical equipment that we can actually use, and other things she needs during this difficult time.

Over the years, I’ve watched my mom go above and beyond for others and watched how much of an amazing mother, sister, daughter, wife, grandmother, and friend she has been.
