My brother Oscar is currently in the ICU fighting for his life due to unfortunate circumstances and mental health issues. He’s a great dad, brother, son, grandson, nephew, and husband. He won’t have any vision after he comes out and will not be able to work. Oscar has a 6-month-old child that he provides for and did not deserve to be in this situation. He’s surrounded by family members and getting the support that he needs. He’ll have a long recovery ahead of him and needs assistance with medical bills, insurance coverage, and to help provide for his family when he’s out. We’re praying for him and he’s making good progress. We appreciate the support in any way. Oscar has a great future ahead of him as he’s only 23. He’s always very attentive and sweet, and helps out in any way that he can. We’re praying for a speedy recovery. (**UPDATE**) As of 09/28/25 , he is out of the ICU unit and moves onto the trauma unit! He’s now working on speech and physical therapy! He’s walking around pretty well, but still a high risk on falling. He’s alive and well, next he’ll move onto rehab but he still has a long journey ahead of him.
