Donate to Oscar Zayas' Journey to Recovery

Oscar Zayas, our amazing Friend, Father, DJ, Music Producer, Mac aficionado, and all things tech, suffered a tragic accident this past Sunday. Oscar and our friends were on our way to Abaco, Bahamas, to an extraordinary place called Mermaid Reef. The mission was to take our dear friend Kristian Jacobi, who had passed a few months back, to Mermaid Reef for his final resting place. Tragically, Oscar suffered a fall on the way over and fractured his spine. It was one of those 1 in a million or billion freak accidents. As a result, Oscar was rushed to St. Marys for immediate surgery to relieve pressure and repair the spine.

Unfortunately, the spine was damaged, and Oscar is currently unable to move his legs. However, he has sensation in his legs and recently moved his toe, which is very promising. He was just transferred to a step-down room at St Mary, and we are now searching for the absolute best rehabilitation facility in the country.

Oscar does not have medical insurance, but he does have a lot of great, dear family and friends. The last thing Oscar would ever want was to ask his friends for help.... so we are doing it for him. His rehabilitation will cost upwards of $125,000, and it may be some time before he can return to the studio and back to work.
