Donate to Orlando’s Medical and Future Expenses

Unfortunately, my brother Orlando Valdez at age 24 went into cardiac arrest on Thursday July 18th. Due to not receiving medical attention on time when he collapsed, he suffered from a brain injury and as of now is in a vegetative state. He is unable to do normal day to day functions, but slowly is progressing. Orlando worked hard every day to provide for his family, especially for his daughter who is three years old. He has been unable to work and is left with medical bills, monthly bills, recovery expenses, and most importantly a daughter to care for. My family and I whole heartedly ask for help during these times as our focus has been his health and recovery. Anything helps. Everything will be going towards his bills and anything his daughter needs. We most importantly ask to keep him in your prayers during these times as we are hopeful that he will recover soon. We appreciate the help and support.

Orlando has not given up since his battle began. After the cardiac arrest, on August 3rd his lungs collapsed, and on August 24th he suffered a lung infection/pneumonia which he won against. He has shown us time to time again that he is not giving up and we won’t either.

Lamentablemente mi hermano Orlando de 24 años sufrió un paro cardíaco el Jueves 18 de Julio. Debido a que no recibió atención médica a tiempo cuando colapsó, sufrió de daño cerebral y al momento se encuentra en estado vegetativo. No puede realizar las funciones normales del día a día, pero está progresando lentamente. Orlando trabajaba todos los días para mantener a su familia, especialmente a su hija de tres años. No ha podido trabajar y tiene facturas médicas, facturas mensuales, gastos para su recuperación y, lo más importante, una hija que cuidar. Mi familia y yo pedimos ayuda de todo corazón durante estos momentos ya que nuestro enfoque ha sido su salud y recuperación. Con lo que puedan ayudar se les aprecia y todo se destinará a sus facturas y a cualquier cosa que su hija necesite. Lo más importante que les pedimos es que lo mantengan en sus oraciones durante estos momentos, ya que tenemos la esperanza de que se recupere pronto. Agradecemos la ayuda y el apoyo.

Orlando no se ha rendido desde que comenzó su batalla. Después del paro cardíaco, el 3 de agosto sus pulmones colapsaron y el 24 de agosto sufrió una infección pulmonar/neumonía de la que venció. Nos ha demostrado una y otra vez que él no se rinde y nosotros tampoco lo haremos.
