Hello, everyone. Thank you for reading this and for your valuable time. I am Onur Nacakgedigi, a second-year dental resident at the University of Rochester. I am also a husband and father of a handsome son. Before joining the University of Rochester, I had the privilege of receiving the Ulysses Medal for Leadership in Refugee Health through a joint decision by three universities: the University of California, the University of Barcelona, and California State University.

I opened this GoFundMe to ask for help with my tuition for this year. Unfortunately, I am struggling financially and cannot afford it. Due to my credit score, I was not approved for private loans. After long and tiring clinical hours, I have also started working for Lyft to support my family. If I cannot find this money, I will not be able to continue my education. I remain optimistic because I know there are good friends and people around me who support my success. I will be a dentist soon and continue helping vulnerable populations worldwide, but I need to pay my tuition and finish school first.
