My best and sweetest boy, Luca, is the most calm and polite dog. This pup rarely causes a fuss, is very quiet, and is cuddly with everyone he meets. He's been my little guy for about 3 years now, making him around 6 years old.

At a young age, Luca began showing signs of vision loss in both eyes, but I never imagined it would lead to an emergency eye removal. Recently, he developed acute glaucoma and an ulcer in his left eye. The pressure in his eye was worsening quickly, and the vet told us surgery was the only way to relieve his pain without risk of return. The very next day, we had to make the tough decision to remove his eye.

The last photo I've shared shows his condition one day before surgery. Post-surgery photos have been left out since they're a little tough to look at.
