Hi friends, this is Caitlin. I’m reaching out on behalf of a dear friend of mine, Olivia and her 12-year-old son, Solomon.
Olivia was recently diagnosed with follicular variant angioinvasive papillary thyroid cancer.
She is a single mother who has dedicated her life to raising her son with love, strength, and values. By his own choice, Solomon’s father is not involved in his life, so Olivia has carried the full weight of parenting, emotionally, physically, and financially. And she has done it with remarkable courage.
Her recent diagnosis comes on top of a lifetime of serious health challenges. Olivia was born with a congenital heart defect called transposition of the great arteries and has lived with Type 1 diabetes for most of her life. She has already endured nine heart surgeries, each one a testament to her resilience.
Despite everything, Olivia has never let illness define her. From a young age, she turned to alternative and holistic healing practices to cope with her own pain, and eventually transformed that passion into her life’s work. Today, she is a gifted healer and practitioner who has helped countless others on their paths to wellness. Now she needs our help.
This GoFundMe is to support Olivia’s medical care, including upcoming surgeries, treatments, and healing therapies, and to provide financial relief so she can focus on recovery and caring for Solomon.
Your donation will help cover:
• Medical expenses not covered by insurance
• Time off work during treatment and recovery
• Support for Solomon’s needs during this difficult time
• Holistic healing therapies to support her mind, body, and spirit
Olivia has spent her life giving to others. Whether it’s $10, $50, or simply sharing this with your community, every act of support helps greatly.
Please join me in surrounding Olivia and Solomon with the love, care, and resources they need for the road ahead.
In gratitude,
Caitlin
