Hi everybody,

We recently had a bad scare with the little guy... O.B. had to be taken the emergency vet and undergo a procedure on his bladder and stay with them for 48 hours. We're extremely lucky that he made it and that he's doing okay now. He's resting a ton, taking his meds, and enjoying the new prescription wet food he has to eat for his urinary tract health.

As a little cat we adopted via the DC Cat Distribution System (he showed up on our porch as a kitten all scruffy and dirty) we don't know much about his medical history, so it's hard to tell if this was a one-time scare or a chronic problem. Either way, the vet bill was a lot, to say the least.
