Keeping things into perspective, holding joy and pain, hence the goofy pic with my Gen X nod to Gen Z. I recently went through a major health experience that changed my life. Oddly for the better, as I have a crystal of optimism always present in me, even at my lowest and darkest. I have friends and my parents, but I am also reaching to reach out to them and you here to help me through this and climb the rungs to qualify for a heart transplant. Although I am not in need of one now, I will need one in the future. It could be 2 years, 5 years, they don't know. But if I qualify, I will be very gratefulI.

This experience has allowed me to live within the present more, although there are those days. The days when I wonder when work will be interrupted, if I will have to go on IV medication again and lining up my support network for when the day comes.

I have a big interview on October 29th as part of my quest to qualify for a heat transplant. It sounds like I do quality, it's just, well, will they list me now, or later. Mass General in Boston is one of the tops in the world for this. The team there is excellent, as is the local team I work with at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

But I do need a more help. I hope you’ll consider donating to me. I’m new to this. I’m doing well overall, my mental health has taken a big hit, as I also am bipolar 2, but I have help. I need a tooth extraction, funds to pay off a co-pay, for travel expenses to and from Boston, and to nudge myself further out of debt just enough to start paying down bills and saving, for when the time come or just in case another one of life's emergencies pays me a visit.
